Each Spring, the winemaking families of the King Valley in Victoria’s North East come together to celebrate the season and their new release wines at La Dolce Vita Festival.
This is a wine and food festival like no other, where you can taste the innovative wine styles the region is known for, matched with authentic fare using family recipes and local produce, and take in the stunning scenery of Victoria’s High Country with a glass of vino in hand.
The King Valley is the home of prosecco in Australia, so there’s plenty of bubbles to enjoy, together with crisp, aromatic pinot grigio, savoury sangiovese and other premium cool-climate styles that have been grown here for generations.
La Dolce Vita festival is fun for all ages, from face painting and bouncy castles, to degustations and late afternoon dancing amongst the vines, there is something for everyone!
To celebrate ‘the sweet life’ The Prosecco Queen, together with Wines of the King Valley are giving away a half-dozen new release wines to fellow prosecco lovers! Competition closes November 13. All you need to do to enter is answer a simple question, and then tag a friend that you’d like that you’d like to share some fantastic wine with on the Prosecco Queen Facebook page La Dolce Vita post. Question: Where is the home of Prosecco in Australia?
*Proof of age will be required for all entrants of this competition*
